Callibella humilis

Callibella humilis was described in 1998, originally from a population living south of Nova Olinda on the west bank of the lower Aripuanã River in south central Amazonas state, Brazil.
Its current conservation status is debatable and probably the species is more at risk than officially considered. More careful studies to determine the population size of the species are needed to give a more concrete picture of its actual conservation status.
